One was of evaluating students ability to participate in self-evaluation is to have them create a portfolio with what they consider to be their best work and provide an evaluation of each item included in the portfolio. Following a template that the teacher provides the student, this will assist the teacher in knowing how well the student is able to participate in self-evaluation. (Apply/construct)
