Question 1-
Specific transfer is the action of using a past piece of information to learn a new piece of information.
Can you sight examples in your classroom where you could use past settings to engage a student?
Question 2-
General transfer is the action of using a situational setting to learn a topic. My study habits from last year will help me earn an A this year, for example. When presented specific and general transferal of learning which do you feel is the predominant way your students would engage in?
I liked both of your questions. I feel that the first is very basic and low-order because it isn't extremely difficult to answer because it is relevant to your own experiences. (applying)
ReplyDeleteThe second questions is more in-depth. I like that you gave an example before asking the question because it helps people create and synthesize their own interpretation to the question.
Great job!
