Higher Level Thinking - (analyzing and synthesizing)
2. What is worldview? How would those in a social
constructivist group deal with different worldviews on a specific topic? Create
a situation that would possibly happen in your classroom that could involve
worldview, and how will you deal with it if there is a major difference in opinion that causes a
problem?
#1 Answer: Individual constructivism focuses on meaning being constructed by one learner. Social constructivism is centered around the idea of a group constructing meaning collectively. I believe that individual constructivism is automatically used more in any situation because we are always constructing meaning on our own whether or not we are in a group.
ReplyDelete#1 Comment: I agree that this 2-part question would fit into "know" (recalling previously learned material about individual/social) and "apply" (using that knowledge in a situation). Good job!
